Episode 18: ABC …. Always Be Creative! With Kirsteene Phelan

Catherine Plano is here today with Kirsteene Phelan. She  is a creative and strategic communicator with strong entrepreneurial instincts. She got her start in the entertainment industry before launching and running her own jewellery business, Scrumptious Production from 2007 - 2012. After a lesson filled exit she broke ground for NASDAQ listed online marketplace, Etsy, as their first employee in the southern hemisphere. Since departing the company, Kirsteene has concentrated on building a portfolio career in the tech startup world with roles at Rome2rio; a travel search company, Inspire9 Coworking space and leading youth engagement for Startup Victoria's Female Founders Committee. She rounds this out with her own communications consultancy company Trecose as well teaching gigs at Peer Academy, RMIT and General Assembly.
